A sticker shouldn’t just look good. It needs to be suited to the place where people will see it: on a product, on packaging, in a shop window, in a set of instructions or on promotional material.
A sticker may seem simple – until you actually have to print it. You need the right size, contrast, bleed, legible text and a file that the printer can use without any problems.
The size must be a specific format, not an estimate.
It’s not just a matter of designing a nice sticker. The most important thing is that the layout is legible, in the correct format, checked against printing requirements and physically ready for use.
The layout, size, bleed, colours and any other requirements specified by the chosen printer are reviewed.
If necessary, a separate cutting outline or technical file is prepared for the printer.
