Social media ad design

Radeimo creates social media ad layouts where a single message is immediately visible, the text is easy to read on a mobile phone, and the next action isn’t lost in the image.

An advert must be understood within a few seconds

People scroll through social media quickly. If an image contains too much text, has poor contrast or fails to convey a single idea, it often goes unnoticed.

The One-Thought Rule

Before designing the layout, you need to decide what the user should see first and what action they should take a few seconds later.

01

What is the key message to take away?

02

Which text should be the most important, and which can be secondary?

03

Which button, suggestion or direction leads to action?

One message

An advert shouldn’t try to say everything at once.

Visible CTA

A person needs to understand what to press or what to do.

Readable text

The mock-up must work on a mobile phone, not just on a large screen.

What can be prepared?

Advert layout designs for different formats

A social media layout must work wherever it is used, for example in a Facebook or Instagram advert, a square post, a vertical post, an ad card or a carousel cover.

Post

A square or vertical image for a post or advert.

Portrait orientation

A vertical layout, in which the text must be even shorter.

Advertising card

A visual that supports the offer, the target audience and the CTA.

Carousel cover

The first carousel frame that needs to stop the scroll.

Visuals for Facebook and Instagram adverts.

Square, vertical and Story-format layouts.

Sets of several visuals for a single campaign.

Social media visuals supporting the website’s services.

Short video adverts or recurring on-screen advert formats.

Work carried out

Different adverts require different visual approaches

In a photo shoot advert, the mood and the value of the offer are important. In an advert promoting a website, it is important to show quickly what the viewer will find on the page. In an advert displayed in a physical shop, the message must be repeated and understood in just a few seconds.

Price range

How much does an advert layout cost?

A single advert layout can start from €45. A set of five layouts for a single campaign can start from €160. Video adverts, screen formats optimised for repeat viewing, adaptations for multiple formats or larger campaigns are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

The price is determined by

Number of formats, adjustments and campaign scope

The more formats, versions and text preparation are required, the more time is spent not only on the design but also on refining the message.
